Island Black is an ideal remote control module for the monitoring and diagnostics of public and industrial lighting plants and the control of multiple services for the smart cities.
The lamps are internally equipped with this radio-frequency control device which makes the device ‘smart’. By means of a central supervisor each light point is remotely controlled, allowing authorized users to check the operating status of the entire lighting system up to the single light point, and to manage the light intensity directly or according to the luminous profile. In this way it is possible to offer a high level of visual comfort to the road users during high traffic hours and to obtain extremely high levels of energy efficiency during nighttime with less traffic, accompanied by an increase in the quality of light and people’s safety. Island Black transmits to the central server both the energetic and the diagnostic monitoring data of each lamp and the management commands coming from the user. Each slave node in the network can be associated with a different group in order to implement distinct flow reduction policies.
Island Black is available both LoRaMesh and LoRaWan versions.
