Research and development activities have always been the beating heart of Rebernig Supervisioni.

Significant investments in this area have allowed the company to obtain several patents that confer prestige and certify its uniqueness, originality and innovation, protecting its ingenuity and creating at the same time added value and therefore greater competitiveness. The protection of intellectual property is in fact considered as a valid tool for growth as well as for strengthening customer and market confidence.

Rebernig is at the forefront in the development of customized hardware and software technologies, always offering its customers cutting-edge products, ready to experiment new technologies and constantly looking for better efficiency and technological reliability, both for internal R&D activities and for custom projects for small and large brands. The activities involve challenges related to technological innovation in services, from electronic design to Information Technology.

According to Rebernig’s vision, a team with know-how and vertical experiences in the worlds of electronics, control, automation and software, is able to better harmonize robust, functional and scalable solutions.

Since the beginning Rebernig has started research and development programs in collaboration with the Department of Electrical Energy and Information Engineering of the University of Bologna.

Different degree theses have been performed at our laboratories and positions are always open for researchers and students oriented towards the development of research projects.

The R&D activities have so far led, among others, to the realization of:

– electronic control boards for various applications (e.g. lighting control, electronic simulation modules, data acquisition boards) based on different platforms including ARM by ST;

– communication systems of various kinds, from radio to LoRa (LoRaMesh or LoRaWAN) and ZigBee technologies, wired systems on RS485, RS232 and Ethernet fieldbus;

– cloud supervision platforms for large product industries, with historical analysis capabilities, interfacing with management software and production lines;

– energy metering systems provided with customized reports;

– automatic control systems for production plants, based on distributed and cooperating PLCs (including ABB) and HMI management panels with centralized intelligence.

 

Rebernig wins where the need for collecting, communicating and managing data is integrated with the need to create robust electrical, electronic and informatic management systems, thanks to a team with strong experience and technical training acquired in the fieldwork.
